bemore-logoThe Academic Leaders phase offers scholarships and support to assist talented Indigenous students enter credible academic institutions and graduate with a standard of excellence.


ApplicantsRockhampton Girls Grammar School

Academically talented Indigenous students living within the Cape York, Mossman, Palm Island and Yarrabah regions who are entering into or currently undergoing secondary or tertiary education and are successful in the competitive selection process.

Purpose

Features

Selected students are offered scholarships to Queensland’s leading boarding schools and highly acclaimed Australian tertiary institutions CYLPTertiaryStudents2013GradCeremony_IMG_0663_smalland are provided with on-going case management and support networks throughout their education.

Phase progression

Graduates may apply for the YouthSkilling, or Excelling Leaders phase.
