Each year the IPAA invites an eminent Australian to address a matter of outstanding importance to public policy and administration in this respected oration.

Today there are many well supported initiatives underway attempting to improve the lives of Aboriginal Australians.

Questions remain however as to whether the objectives can be attained and what role exists in the future for the public service to support and sustain these efforts.

Aboriginal leader, Mr Noel Pearson, whose record of leadership in this area is without peer, will provide a significant statement on these and other questions in a timely address to IPAA2014.
