This phase in the leadership journey sees talented and highly motivated Indigenous youth aged 18-24 take their thinking to a higher level, advance their careers and develop their leadership ambitions.
During this phase, the young people will gain confidence to meet the high standard and expectations of great leadership and come to a deeper understanding of how leadership applies to themselves, in their families, in the workplace and throughout the community.
The program equips people with the employability, workplace and leadership skills to be role models and enter into
the workforce and/or seek promotional opportunities.
Indigenous people who reside and have family and cultural connections to Cape York communities are encouraged to apply.

“I remember from one of the workshops hearing the phrase ‘be the ripple effect,’ and it stayed with me. I decided to better myself by getting healthier, fitter, and I even gave up smoking because I want to be the ripple effect on others.”
