Next Steps ….

  1. Cape York Leaders Program team member will email you to organise a time to give you an introductory call;
  2. We’ll send you some forms to fill out to share your story;
  3. We’ll share with you our Mentoring Training material;
  4. Complete an online comprehension questionnaire;
  5. CYLP will match you with one of our Academic Leaders; and share your profile with the student and theirs with you;
  6. First initial contact (face to face, phone conference, or video conference) with a CYLP team member, the student’s parent or carer (if possible), and a school representative;
  7. Cape York Leaders Program Team will always be on hand to support you in your mentoring journey supporting a young First Nations student from Cape York.
