The O-Hub is a one-stop-shop for a suite of Opportunity Products, developed by Cape York Partnership, which encourage and support individuals and families to manage and take responsibility for their finances, their health and their children’s education. The O-Hub provides an environment for building self-reliance and responsibility. Its focus is to bring welfare dependent individuals and families up to a level of basic functionality through:

  • Engaging in their children’s education
  • Positive parenting
  • Pride in the family home
  • Budgeting and income
  • Engaging in family health

Hundreds of individuals and families are getting their lives on track through O-Hub support.

Provides support to manage money for basic material needs, build capabilities through financial literacy and behaviour change, and to build assets through saving and disciplined money management.

 

Student Education Trust (SET) supports parents to meet their child’s education and development needs from birth to graduation.

 

A suite of specialised opportunities for parents and carers to learn how to best support a child’s physical, emotional, social and intellectual development from infancy to adulthood.

 

A backyard renovation project where families make a financial and physical contribution or ‘sweat equity’ and in return receive labour and materials to help complete their project.
