‘O’ stands for opportunity.
O-Hubs are purpose-built community centres that empower families across Cape York to take control of their lives and move towards self-reliance and economic prosperity.
Located in Aurukun, Coen, Hope Vale and Mossman Gorge, O-Hubs have become part of the fabric of the communities they serve. Staffed by local Indigenous employees, they are safe, trusted places where families can yarn, seek support and access practical tools for change.
At the heart of the O-Hub model are Opportunity Products. Designed with Cape York communities, these free products build confidence, capability and self-determination across areas such as money management, food security, education, housing and family goals.
O-Hubs extend this support beyond their centres through mobile O-Hub trucks, bringing Opportunity Products and trusted support to communities without a permanent hub, including Lockhart River and Wujal Wujal.

Across remote Cape York communities, families often face limited access to services, support and opportunities that many Australians take for granted.
Distance, cost, digital exclusion and complex systems can make everyday tasks harder, from managing money and accessing food to navigating education, housing, health and government services.
Without trusted local support, these barriers can deepen disadvantage and limit people’s ability to act on their goals.
O-Hubs respond by providing a reliable place in community where families can access practical support, build capability and connect with opportunities closer to home.
What we are Doing
O-Hubs have become one of Cape York Partnership’s most successful and trusted community platforms, giving families a reliable place to access support, build capability and connect with opportunity.
In 2025, O-Hubs supported 3,200 members and recorded 13,440 interactions, showing how deeply they are relied on across Cape York communities.
Through free Opportunity Products designed with Cape York communities, O-Hubs help families build financial capability, strengthen routines, make informed decisions and take practical steps towards their goals.
Hub on the Go
O-Hub Trucks extend O-Hub services to remote communities across Cape York, bringing support closer to families who can’t easily reach fixed locations. Each truck is a mobile service point, offering the full suite of Opportunity Products.
The trucks integrate with the wider O-Hub model to ensure consistent delivery across locations while remaining flexible to respond to community needs. By taking services directly to communities, Hub on the Go reduces barriers, improves access, and supports more regular engagement.
Opportunity Products
Opportunity Products are practical tools designed with our Cape York communities to help families build capability, confidence and self-determination. Delivered through our O-Hubs, they support people to make informed decisions, strengthen routines and take practical steps towards their goals.
Pama Platform is a web-based app that consolidates a range of digital tools and Opportunity Products in a single location.
MPower builds financial capability by helping individuals and families manage money, banking, debt, budgeting and everyday financial decisions with confidence.
Personal Saver helps individuals build regular saving habits and work towards personal goals, strengthening confidence, independence and long-term financial resilience.
Homelands supports families to save together for land and property-related costs, strengthening shared responsibility for homes, Country and future generations.
Mayi Market is a not-for-profit enterprise delivering fresh, quality food and essentials to remote Cape York communities at fair prices.
READY, SET and GO helps families save for children’s education, development and future opportunities, from the early years through to training and employment pathways.
Wise Buys helps families make informed, affordable purchasing decisions so they can get better value on essential goods and services.
Bayan helps individuals prepare for home ownership by building savings for a home deposit and strengthening financial confidence.

O-Hub locations
