Pama Language Centre is collaborating with the Chivaree Centre, Aurukun to hold ongoing weekly activities as part of the Life Stories and Painted Stories project.

The project provides opportunities for Chivaree Centre clients, Elders and artists to access archival materials in the Aurukun Keeping Culture Archive, to document language and culture in creative ways and to record stories in the ancestral languages Wik-Mungkan, Wik-Ngathan, Wik-Alken/Wik-Ngatharr, Kugu Uwanh and Kugu Muminh.
