Paula Fullagar says before SET she always had to budget to reach the amount of money she needed to buy uniforms and shoes and could only afford to buy individual items a bit at a time.
She says through SET she has learnt budgeting skills and is a lot more organised, building up her money and saving it for important purchases.
“It makes me feel proud of myself. I feel a better person—especially when I’m on top of everything and the new school year is just around the corner.”
Paula’s mother told her about SET after a workshop was held.
Paula says, “Other kids were buying things like educational books and toys and I wanted the same for my kids.”
“I feel pretty independent now and not seeking handouts from family.
“I am trying to stay ahead of the due date knowing that I have money to cover everything.”
