Laish Salam attended QISSRL Confraternity Carnival in Charters Towers playing 5 days of Rugby League with over 1000 boys playing in the carnival.

The QISSRL Confraternity Carnival is held yearly and is now the biggest carnival of its type in Australia.

Laish currently attends St Brendan’s College at Yeppoon and was selected 2 years in a row to play for St Brendan’s 1st X111 side and has used his SETS account to pay for his Football Fees.

His mum signed him up with a SETS account when he was just 6 years old and has used it for things such as extracurricular activities and education.

He is currently in year 12 and graduates at the end of the year and is still deciding on what he would like to do when he finishes.
