Mel is an experienced people and commercial leader with more than 20 years’ senior management experience across diverse and operationally complex environments, including banking, mining, energy, commercial business and government-owned enterprise.
An AHRI-certified HR professional, Mel brings extensive senior leadership experience in people strategy, workforce planning, employee relations, industrial relations, organisational change and leadership. Her approach combines strong commercial understanding with a genuine focus on building capable leaders, engaged teams and practical people solutions that support business performance.
At Cape York Partnership, Mel leads the People and Corporate Services team, supporting the organisation and its entities to build the people, capability and corporate foundations required to deliver lasting outcomes for Cape York people and communities.
