Opportunity Products are practical tools and services that help individuals and families build capability, confidence and self-determination.

Designed with our Cape York communities, each product responds to real barriers families face in everyday life – from managing money and accessing healthy food to saving for education and future goals.

Delivered through O-Hubs and supported by the digital Pama Platform, Opportunity Products help people take practical steps towards greater independence and stronger families.

Why it Matters

Families in remote communities often face limited services, high living costs, low financial literacy, digital exclusion and fewer local opportunities.

These barriers can make it harder to save, manage money, access healthy food, support children’s education or plan for housing and employment.

Opportunity Products respond with practical, community-designed tools that help people build capability, make informed decisions and take greater control of their lives.

What we are Doing

O-Hubs currently deliver eight free Opportunity Products: MPower, Wise Buys, Mayi Market, Homelands, Bayan, READY, SET and GO, Personal Saver and Pama Platform.

Together, they help people build financial capability, save for major goals, access healthy food, avoid high-interest debt and plan for the future.

In 2025, Opportunity Products supported 3,200 current members, 13,440 O-Hub interactions and $1.1 million in total savings.

The results show that when people have the right tools and opportunity, they take responsibility and make real progress.

Our O-Hubs have physical centres in the communities of Aurukun, Coen, Hope Vale and Mossman Gorge. We also have the capability to offer outreach services to all corners of the Cape through the Hub on the Go trucks.
