The auditorium at Djarragun College was filled with students, staff and members of the Defence and Navy services for its annual ANZAC Day commemorations. Waru Sports Captain Shamira, Transition Leader Ali, and College Captain Ziair led the ceremony, educating the college on the history and significance of ANZAC Day. Australian Defence Force Recruitment Officer Jerry Savage praised the event saying, “It’s great to see the college observe the day and it's important for the students to learn what it’s all about.”
