For three decades, Cape York Partnership has walked with our people. This publication, For the Love of Our People, honours the giants who first lit the fires of unity and insisted that “enough is enough,” and the mothers, fathers and families who carried both the weight and the hope of change. It tells the story of Indigenous-led solutions that restore responsibility and create real opportunity
From land rights to welfare reform, from pioneering education pathways to building financial capability, strengthening culture, and creating jobs on Country, Cape York has been a proving ground for what works when First Nations communities design and drive the agenda.
Over the years we have shaped national conversations, built enduring partnerships and developed initiatives that back families to raise strong children who can walk confidently in two worlds: anchored at home, free to orbit outward.
Thirty years on, we mark what has been achieved, and we commit to the next chapter, for the love of our people.
