Kyeisha Zaro is a current CYLP Academic Secondary student at the Cathedral School of St Anne and St James, where she began in 2013.
Kyeisha is a dedicated and diligent student, with teaching and boarding staff, as well as her peers, often speaking highly of her.
In 2016, she was awarded the Sister Alice Service to Boarding Shield, in recognition of her contribution to Girls Boarding at her School. Kyeisha was also appointed as Girl’s Boarding Captain for her senior year in 2017—a testament to her strong leadership qualities.
As a well-rounded student, Kyeisha has been involved with School and club representative sports, playing basketball, netball and football. She was also selected to represent the Marlins Northern division at the Queensland Rugby League State Carnival in July and will travel with the Cathedral School UK netball tour in 2017.
Kyeisha is also an aspiring artist, with her artwork being featured in a recent exhibition at Umbrella Studio in Townsville. If that wasn’t enough, Kyeisha is also working towards completing a business traineeship with MAXIMA, hosted by QANTAS.
This could lead to possible employment opportunities for her after she finishes her senior studies next year.
Kyeisha continues to be a fantastic student, strong leader, and wonderful example to her peers; we wish her all the best with finishing up her final years of school and look forward to seeing what the future holds.
