After winning both the 100m and 200m finals at the Queensland Junior Athletics Championships, Xavier traveled to Sydney over the weekend to represent Queensland at the National Championships.
He competed in the 100m and 200m finals, Triple Jump, and the 4 x 100m Relay.
Xavier’s mum, Erica, kept us updated:
“What an amazing experience! As a parent I just wanted him to challenge himself mentally and he did. He dug deep and made the most of the opportunity to compete at such a high level. He was pushed mentally and physically and had a good crack at the events. That is the gold! Thank you CYLP for all the support.”
